Medical vs Adult-Use

Noble Herb offers both medical and adult-use cannabis products. The legalization of adult-use or recreational cannabis eliminates the barrier of time and cost associated with becoming a medical patient. This affords anyone 21+ to discover what’s right for them and if they want to go through the process of getting their medical card.

How much cannabis can a medical patient buy in Arizona?

Medical cannabis patients in Arizona can currently purchase up to 2.5 ounces every two weeks.

In comparison, adult-use cannabis consumers can buy up to one ounce, with no more than 5 grams being concentrates/extracts, per transaction. For more comparisons – https://azdhs.gov/licensing/marijuana/index.php

Is medical cannabis taxed differently than adult use?

Adult-use or recreational cannabis purchases incur a 16% excise tax plus state and local sales taxes.

Patients buying medical cannabis incur only state and local sales taxes.

What are the cannabis purchase limits for adult use?

In Arizona, a person 21 years of age or older may purchase one ounce (about 28 grams) or less of adult-use cannabis.

Of the 28g total, no more than 5g can be concentrated in forms like edibles, vaporizer cartridges, extracts, etc.

What’s your vision for changing the perception of the cannabis industry?

From one of our founders Ryan Hermansky:

“When we [Noble Herb formly Greenhouse of Flagstaff] first opened, there was still a bit of a stigma around the industry and it was still seen by many as an arena with little growth opportunity. That’s simply not, and never was the case.

With the increasing shift in perception and passing of Proposition 207, medical and adult use sales at dispensaries have been higher than ever before and with that, more brands are coming to market. This is exciting for the industry, but mainly drives us to keep evolving Pure Edibles as a business and service to others. As the competition gets greater, so do we.”

Indica vs Sativa – What To Expect From Cannabis Types

Cannabis Sativa has an energizing, anxiety-reducing effect. This cannabis type is commonly sought after by those who suffer from depression, chronic fatigue, or an eating disorder because it can boost appetite and motivation. Sativa often has lower doses of CBD and higher doses of THC.

Cannabis Indica has a deeply relaxing or sedating effect. This cannabis type is popular among medical patients to treat issues like chronic pain, stress, and insomnia. Indica strains often have higher levels of CBD, but the THC content usually remains similar to other strains

Hybrids are typically grown on farms or in greenhouses from a combination of Sativa and Indica cannabis strains. Effects can vary.
